About P I P

Pip Avery is the founder of P I P, a florist and vintage store based in Moonah, less than 7km north of Hobart, Tasmania. Creating flowers for weddings, events, gifts and everyday moments, Pip is known for an organic approach that celebrates movement, texture and the beauty of nature.

Inspired by wild landscapes, changing seasons and a lifelong appreciation of old objects, her work brings together seasonal flowers, sculptural florals and carefully curated vintage pieces. A love of old things has always been part of Pip’s story. Childhood weekends were often spent amongst boxes of treasures at her grandparent’s antique shop, fossicking through and unwrapping curiosities. Those afternoons were the beginnings of appreciation of patina, craftsmanship and form of old things.

Bringing the love of curiosities, design and floral art together into one space, creating a perfect representation of what Pip is and loves.
